Thyrotropin Releasing Hormone (TRH or Protirelin) is a small peptide hormone produced in the hypothalamus. Research on TRH has shown that it can improve thyroid function and possesses anti-depressant and anti-suicidal properties. Additionally, TRH has been studied for its potential benefits in the aging process, regulation of feeding behavior, reduction of free radicals, and modulation of the autonomic nervous system.
